Q. What is the standard of Cad Cam Medical's reporting?
A: A high standard without doubt! CCM has the medical experts and excellent radiologists to interpret the reports. Our reports are rated excellent by different medical research centers are referred as valid cases.
Q. What if the physician treating is not satisfied with the report prepared by Cad Cam Medical?
A: Cad Cam Medical tries its best to make the report genuine and authentic so there is less possibility of your physician being not satisfied with our report. In case there is such dispute the clients may soon send the report for a re-read. All the exams and tastes will be thoroughly studied and looked into where the lapses might have happened. They are soon mitigated.
Q. How would I send the report for a re-read and how long it will take for the response?
A: Please indicate on the patient's information log that the report has been sent back for a re-read; also describe the reasons why it is returned by highlighting the fields you require to be worked on. The re-studied report is generally sent to the client on the same day.
Q. If there is any charge for a re-read? A: No. If the reasons highlighted why the report has been sent back are genuine no fee is charged.
Reporting
Q. How long does it take for reporting on my patient's X-ray?
A: The same day! CCM's effort is to provide the report on the X-ray film on the same. The report is delivered generally between 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm by fax. In case the delivery is being delayed it means there may be technical problem with the fax machine at your end. Please check it for your good. If you supply alternative way to send you the report if the fax machine is not working well we will do that. You can collect the report at the Client Service Department if it is possible by you. Any how we are committed to send you the report the same day without nay delay so that you do not face any problem in taking up the treatment.
Q. Are the faxed reports at par with the original one?
A: Of course! Faxed reports are of course genuine and they can be used as originals for any recordings. Our radiologists use computer generated facsimile signatures and hence they are at par with any original reports.
Q. Would I get a hard copy report as well as a faxed one?
A: Yes! In fact we prepare a report and save it in the computer which can be used in any form. The fax report is what you get the same day and your work will not get hampered. But if you need a hard copy for any purpose please inform the Client Service Department at 972-382-8384 (change the number as provided).
Q. Is it possible to get a copy of my report in future? A: Yes. CCM archives all the reports in its database and any report can be viewed and used in future. If you need a copy please contact the Client Service Department.
Reporting (STAT) (Emergency Reporting)
Q. If the CCM studies a STAT report?
A: In short NO. If the patient is in an emergency condition and needs treatment immediately a STAT report should not be sent for interpretation to us. Only non-emergency stats are studied on special conditions. But we ensure the interpretation is sent back sooner than possible.
Q. What happens if a report from your side has already been shipped but my physician needs the report immediately without delay?
A: Even if the report has been shipped but you require the report on emergency basis we will arrange you one. Please contact our Client Service Department with such a demand and will send you a copy most possibly in one hour.
Technical Provider Q. If I have a tech provider facility how should I schedule exams?
A: In this situation the CCM will send a phone number and contact person. The administrator at your end will work out the details with the CCM to schedule times for the exams.
Ordering & Supplies
Q. Can we send you comparison films with the current exam? If yes how many?
A: Yes. You may send the comparison films if they are available but should not send more than two films at a time. If you do not have one then indicate the previous radiologist report would be enough. Just refer to its number and we will manage every thing.
Q. Can we request for changing the Patient Information Log format?
A: In fact you can avail of all the facilities in the present format so you may not require another format. Still if you want please contact the Client Service Department on 972-382-8384 (Toll Free). Change the number.
Q. What happens if the Patient Log does not go through the fax?
A: Contact the Client Service Department immediately. Your concern will be mitigated soon.
Q. How long does it take to return our films?
A: We generally return the films the same day the report is prepared. Please allow at least 2 business days to get them by UPS Standard. In case you need them urgently please contact the Client Service Department with special request.
Q. Who is responsible to send our films to CCM for the study?
A: With X-ray tech the service provider will facilitate every thing to send the films to us. It is their responsibility to fill in the Patient Information Log, fax and ship the films to our address. Please ensure that every detail like patient's full name, inmate number, birth date, sex, history of the patient, type of study requested, referring physician's name and above all the address the report is to be sent back etc on the patient's part is provided clearly.
Q. Now that I'm sending my films myself how will I get my supplies?
A: Before you send the films you need Patient Log, Preprinted Federal Express air-bills and pouches supplied by the CCM. If you do not have these please ask for them at the Client Service Department. In case of emergency you may send the films in alternate packages that may accommodate the films. |
